Welcome to Ricker Associates Home & Building Inspections, Inc. We are pleased that you have taken the time to review our website. We are an experienced and professional Home Inspection Company that has successfully served our customers for nearly 20 years. We are based in Marblehead , Massachusetts but will travel nearly anywhere based on our customers needs. Established by me, Charlie Ricker, I perform very thorough Home Inspections for buyers who want and need to know the true unbiased condition of the property. Then, as an educated buyer you can make decisions about your purchase. Every inspection is completed as if I were buying the property myself and I am squarely in your corner at all times.

A quality home inspection performed by an experienced home inspector is one of the most important steps in the home buying process and if done properly it can save you thousands of dollars in some cases. During the inspection I also make sure that you are familiarized with the operating systems of the property, emergency and seasonal shut-offs, and I also offer recommendations on maintenance issues.

As additional services I can provide Radon Testing & Mitigation Services, Mold & Air Quality Testing, Water Quality Testing, Asbestos Testing, Lead Testing, Carbon Monoxide (CO) Testing, and Pest Certifications. I serve all surrounding areas including the North Shore, Boston Metro, Merrimack Valley, Portions of New Hampshire & Maine, and the South Shore. I generally do not charge for travel except when traveling to Martha's Vinyard and Nantucket for Inspections.

I have completed thousands of Home & Building Inspections and have designed & installed hundreds of Radon Mitigation Systems and enjoy a long term proven track record. I am fully Licensed by the State of Massachusetts (#176). I am a FULL Member of ASHI, The American Society of Home Inspectors (#245415). ASHI is the oldest, largest, strictest, and most respected private trade organization for Home Inspectors in the United States. Additionally, I am a Massachusetts Licensed Construction Supervisor/Builder-Unrestricted #105107 All Home Inspection Reports are created and printed on-site with my laptop and portable printer for fastest service when time is of the essence.

I am fully certified by the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) as a Radon Measurement Technician (#104157RT) and Radon Mitigation Specialist (#104158RMT) both of which are EPA approved. All Radon Testing is completed on-site using only Electronic Radon Monitors for the quickest and most accurate results. I am a certified Mold Inspector & Testing Agent and certified by the New England Pest Management Association as Wood Destroying Insect (pest) Inspector (#10025).
